Fremont Museum of Local History

Previously the Anza Fire Station 4, it now houses historical items and artifacts of the late 19th-century Washington Township and outlying area. View buggy carts, general mercantile store goods, and other artifacts of the era. Visit its Fremont Historical Garden, boasting colorful plants and flowers native to the area. The museum and garden are kept by a group of volunteers, dedicated to preserving and teaching local history. Please call regarding its local history program for 3rd -graders. The museum is open Wednesdays and Fridays, and every second weekend of each month, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

The Front Row Theater

Wente Vineyards

Wente Vineyards is California's oldest family owned and continuously operated winery. Founded in 1883 by C. H. Wente, the winery is now managed by the fourth and fifth generations of the Wente family. The winery farms nearly 3,000 acres of estate vineyards in the Livermore Valley, San Francisco Bay, and Arroyo Seco, Monterey appellations, two premier Central Coast winegrowing regions.

The Wente family shares wine country experiences with visitors to the Livermore Valley at their award-winning Restaurant at Wente Vineyards, Greg Norman designed golf course, wine country events center, summer concert series, and two tasting rooms.

Burton Park

Burton Park is the oldest and best known of our developed parks. The central location and diversity of activities help to draw a wide spectrum of users and is heavy utilized year-round. It currently contains Madsen softball diamond, Flanagan baseball field, a large soccer field, three lighted tennis courts, two full basketball courts, a tennis practice court, two horseshoe pits, the Kiwanis Recreation Building, two children’s play areas (one completely fence-enclosed and each with a play structure, slide, and swings), park benches, picnic tables, barbecue pits, and a turfed play area.
